Entity's Commission Transfer Receive

As an established supplier of EDI Services, Entity has produced a simple to use, cost effective, tailored solution to meet the needs of those receiving commission from insurers. Its called ECTR (Entity’s Commission Transfer Receive) for Origo.

The key functions of this product are as follows:

• automatic connection to your mailbox within the IBM EDI Service (Information Exchange), using a secure internet or direct dial connection
• retrieval of ORIGO commission transfer messages (supporting all ORIGO EDIFACT commission transfer messages formats up to version 1.1)
• management of production and test messages by the same functions but sent to different destinations (allowing you to separate test data from production during the initial trials with new trading partners)
• produces a user specifiable comma or tab delimited application file of commission payment data for transferring to your administrative system, or updates directly MS Access or MS SQL databases
• reports all received message data and retains an audit trail of messages received
• runs manually from the GUI (graphical user interface), or as a Windows scheduled task (writing status information to the Windows 2000 Event Log)
• produces log files for problem determination and support
• configurable back-up function allows the database, received files and messages to be backed up and restored
• archive function allows database entries, received files and messages to be placed into and received from archives
