Structured Data

Structured data is data that is organised into a structure so that it is identifiable and searchable using standard relational or other database techniques. It is generally possible to select specific pieces of information based on columns and rows from a table. Most of the data stored in most of the line of business systems operated by most organisations globally is currently structured data.
Complex problems arise when an organisation has multiple sources of structured data of variable quality that need to be unified into a single view for compliance, commercial or other reasons. These problems can be addressed through the use of Information Management tools and techniques.
Entity build, manage and deploy comprehensive solutions that allow organisations to take their existing structured data, integrate it with unstructured data and make it available in a consistent, unified and trusted form to meet the diverse needs of a modern enterprise.
